Choosing peace instead of unrest allows us to become agents of God. It's a call to action instead of being a way to just wallow in self-pity as to why uncomfortable things are happening to us.
We need to remember that peace and God are one. It is only our thoughts that can give us the illusion that we are separated from God for we never really are.
